Red Cross cover European Juggling Convention

Between the 8th and the 16th of July Kanturk Red Cross provided 24hr cover for The 29th Annual European Juggling Convention which took place in the Green Glens Complex in Milltreet. The event saw people of all ages converge on Millstreet for a week or so of non stop juggling, shows, workshops which ran on a constant basis. With a daily attendance averaging at about 1,500 people it was a lively event. With well over 32 nationalities represented it was one of the bigger international events covered by our unit.

Every night after dark jugglers put on a display of fire juggling.

The Main Arena in the Green Glens was used 24hrs a day during the event.
